J-Type (Fe-Const) Teflon Thermocouple Cable is a thermocouple measurement cable with PFA insulation and a PFA outer sheath for use in J-Type thermocouple measurement circuits. Its 2x0.50 mm² mono/solid conductor construction carries signals between a sensor and a measuring instrument, controller, or control panel in industrial temperature measurement applications.
The cable structure has J-Type thermocouple color coding in accordance with IEC 60584-3 standard. The positive conductor is Fe and the negative conductor is CuNi. Positive leg insulation color is black, negative leg insulation color is white. The outer sheath color is black.
PFA insulation and outer sheath structure is preferred in applications that require chemical and physical resistance in difficult working environments. According to the manufacturer's technical data, the cable is suitable for continuous operation in the range of -90°C to +260°C and for short-term peak temperatures of +280°C. It can be used in industrial applications that require resistance to moisture and UV effects and mechanical strength.
